This scenic trail, which leads from Jagniątkow to Piechowice, offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and forests. While hiking, you can observe a variety of wildlife, as well as enjoy the fresh air of Lower Silesia. The trail is about 6 km long, trekking from Jagniątkow to Piechowice should take about 2h.

SNOWY CAULDRONS, BLACK JAGNIĄTKOW CAULDRON

If you're ready for a more challenging adventure, head to Snowy Cauldrons and Black Jagniątkowski Cauldron. This unusual place will be especially appreciated by nature and mountain hiking enthusiasts. It is located between Smielec peak and the Jelenia Gora-Jagniątkow district. It is characterized by steep granite walls, at the bottom of the Cauldron there is a charming Jaworowa Meadow, where you can find, among other things, yellow flowers of mountain arnica. A blue trail leads to the Black Jagniątkowski Cauldron, while a black trail leads to the Crossroads under Jawor.

SHELTER UNDER ŁABSKIE PEAK

The shelter below Labský Peak, located at the foot of the Snowy Cirques, is an excellent destination for mountain hikers. To reach the shelter, you can start your hike in Szklarska Poreba, and then walk through picturesque forests, past the Golden Caverns. The trail is full of magnificent views. The Pod Labský Peak Hostel is also an excellent base for hiking on both the Polish and Czech sides of the Karkonosze Mountains. The Polish side is sure to delight with the Szklarka waterfall, the Crossroads under the Great Szyszak and the possibility of reaching the top of Szrenica.

From the shelter, you can enjoy expansive views of the Jeleniogórska Valley and savor a moment in nature. This is an ideal place for unforgettable escapades, both in summer and in winter, when the mountains are covered with snow and skiers have access to the "Bystra" ski slope.

GOLDEN VIEW IN MICHALOVICE

Golden View in Michalowice is a vantage point with a wooden terrace on the invariably stunning main attractions of the Giant Mountains: Śnieżne Kotły, Łabski Szczyt, Szrenica, Wysoki Kamień, Sokolnik, Babiniec, Skalnica, Szklarz and Ganciarek. Especially recommended for lovers of beautiful panoramas, as it offers a truly breathtaking view of the picturesque peaks of Lower Silesia.

Presenting the natural attractions of the Karkonosze Mountains, one cannot omit the highest peak in the Sudetenland - Sněžka. Its height is 1602 meters above sea level. The Polish-Czech border runs through it, and it also houses the Meteorological Observatory, the St. Lawrence Chapel, the post office building and the gondola lift station. The mountain can be conquered by various trails, starting from Karpacz or from the Czech side. The most popular trail leads through the "Samotnia" shelter and "Strzecha Akademicka", although there is also a more difficult route through Lomniczka Kotel (closed in winter). The ascent to the top is facilitated by the Jubilee Road-accessible also for bicyclists and strollers (closed in winter).

MUSHROOM HOUSE - BISMARCK HOUSE

Grzybowiec is the highest peak of the Karkonosze Foothills, reaching 714 m above sea level. It is located between Jagniątkow and Piechowice. The summit is home to the Grzybowiec Recreation Center (now closed), which was originally the summer residence of German Chancellor Otto Bismarck. During World War II it served as the headquarters of the Luftwaffe command. The summit offers beautiful views of the Giant Mountains and the Jeleniogórska Valley. Particularly fascinating is the legend that huge treasures of the Third Reich were hidden in the area, including the mysterious ";Golden Train" and the "Amber Chamber," although no evidence of these treasures has been found to date.

The second part of the center, the historic Sobieszow Palace, tells the story of the Schaffgotch family and the role of the Karkonosze National Park in the region. LAND OF HALF-TIMBERED HOUSES - ANTONIÓW - ART VILLAGE

Lusatian half-timbered houses, also known as Lusatian houses, are examples of folk architecture in the border region between Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. They are characterized by a combination of Slavic log architecture and German half-timbering techniques. These charming structures, which are distinguished by the half-timbering supporting the upper floors of the houses, can be found mainly in the Upper Lusatia region. In recent years, initiatives have emerged to preserve and promote this type of architecture, such as the "Land of Half-timbered Houses" project. The "Kolodziej's House" Association of Zgorzelec is also working to preserve and popularize these houses, organizing an annual Open Day for half-timbered houses, during which one can visit privately-owned, restored and inhabited half-timbered houses, as well as obtain information on subsidies for the renovation or construction of new half-timbered houses.

The Cemetery of the Worshippers of Light in Michalowice is a small and mysterious place, located in the wooded hills of the Karkonosze region. Established at the end of the 19th century, it is associated with the ancient religious sect of the worshippers of light, whose beliefs were derived from Old Germanic, Christian and Eastern religious traditions. It is unique for its unusual character and the presence of runic symbols on the tombstones. Although it is not entirely clear why it was established in a remote and wooded location, it can be assumed that it was the burial place of the sect's followers. Today, the cemetery has been cleaned up by the Michalowice community and is a testament to the spiritual quest of the late 19th century and an interesting historical site.
